Strip brushes are used in many industries and applications including
- sealing
- securing
- preventing/reducing energy/heat loss
- cleaning and dusting
- guiding moving objects
- paint application
A strip brush is constructed with a steel back strip that is formed into a "U" shape. The fill material/fibre is placed into the bend during the forming process and held by a central rod/wire. The sides are cosed to complete the process.
The strips are available in galvanized steel or stainless steel construction with a large selection of fill materials including:
- synthetic - polypropylene (PP), nylon, PVC etc.
- natural - horse hair, coco fibre, tampico, bass, java etc.
- wire - steel, 316 stainless steel or brass
The brushes can also be supplied in an aluminium h-shaped holder.
